No lottery for a license. We will sell you one, but in Quebec, two licensed hunters are necessary to kill a moose.

On the day before the opening of the season, a guide will be provided for your party as part of the package. He will teach you the hunting techniques, region and locate an actively traveled area. You are then on your own,  the guide can be engaged for additional days.

With a kill, the animal may be gutted and quartered, but all meat must be taken to the game wardens for check-in. In some cases this may require backpacking the animal to your vehicle.

A four wheel drive vehicle is desirable for some of the regions and a GPS is strongly recommended.

We will assist you in obtaining all exit permits.  The season runs from  October 11th, and ends  October 19th for firearms.
