Partridge or Spruce Grouse are plentiful and provide great
wing shooting. Along the fields bordering woods seems to be the most
productive, but there is equal pleasure walking the logging trails.
Hares, the larger version of the cotton-trail rabbit are
abundant. These hares turn from brown in the summer to white in the winter.
They can be hunted with or without dogs.
A late fall wolf hunt can be arranged and we use bear
stands over bait.
The season is approximately September 16th until January -
March depending on the species.
